We are looking for an experienced software Product Manager to own the software that powers our award-winning platform. Someone who will help shepherd our team and processes as we grow our capacity to crank out great code, deftly juggling the needs of our partners and stakeholders with the sleep and well-being of our software team.

Responsibilities

  • Own our software development process.
  • Write requirements for user stories and epics.
  • Create and maintain artifacts such process flow diagrams, data templates, etc.
  • Maintain and drive prioritization of the product backlog.
  • Track releases.
  • Lead daily standups, as well as planning, review and retrospective meetings.
  • Support the development team with any questions they may have.
  • Represent the user’s interests within the development process.
  • Represent the state of software development to stakeholders throughout the company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a software Product Manager.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile processes and methodology.
  • Demonstrated success launching excellent products.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Extras

  • Software development background, with experience in Java.
  • Veteran of multiple startups.
  • Genuinely friendly and outgoing. But, you know, not TOO friendly and outgoing.
  • Experience working with power systems, microgrids and/or Distributed Energy Resources.
  • Excellent taste in music, movies, and coffee.
